Proactive Policing- Two arrested for Drug offences

Good evening, hope your well. 

Two people have been arrested after a large amount of drugs were seized in Penkridge.

Officers from shift one of south Staffordshire local policing team attended the property, off Wolgarston Way, at around 9.30am today (Tuesday 3 February).

Around 200 snap bags of cannabis were found, along with suspected class A drugs, suspected cannisters of nitrous oxide and cash.

Some of the drugs seized 

A 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, both of Penkridge, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.

They remain in custody while our inquiries continue.

“I hope this demonstrates how we are determined to tackle the supply of drugs in our communities and we will continue to do all we can to get them off our streets.”
